About BBQ Shack

BBQ Shack is a Canadian barbecue shop based in Cambridge, Ontario. We sell the rubs, sauces, grills, and pellet smokers we cook with ourselves, online at bbqshack.ca and in person at our St. Jacobs Market location.

Grills and pizza ovens ship free anywhere in Canada with no minimum order.

Buying a grill or pizza oven is a major purchase, so we handle those orders personally. After checkout, we contact every buyer to confirm the shipping details and timing before the order leaves. If the shipping arrangements do not meet your expectations, we will cancel the order and provide a full refund.

Rubs, sauces, and accessories ship free on orders over $100, and Cambridge pickup is always an option at checkout. Pellets are available for pickup or local delivery.

How we got here

We started in 2020 as KW Pellets, selling pellets and barbecue supplies in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. The business outgrew the name. Our lineup kept expanding beyond pellets, so in 2024 we rebranded to BBQ Shack and rebuilt the store around everything we actually sell.

St. Jacobs Market is our retail home, and our location sits on the market's main aisle. It is a full retail store, with hundreds of products in stock and ready to take home.

BBQ Shack is family-run, and we work to pair that personal service with professional standards: clear communication, careful packing, and support after the sale.

More than 400 products across about 40 brands, with the shelf space going to what serious and beginner cooks actually ask for:

If we would not put it on our own smoker, we do not sell it. We are avid users of the products we sell, and we cater to everyone from beginners to experts. We love talking barbecue and showing people the craft.
